We are fundraising to build ramps for the confined!!
Imagine the closest thing you can experience of the world is what you see through a window? An eager face staring into the rich expanse of outside, dreaming of being there to feel the breeze on your skin, to smell nature around you, to partake of what the world has to offer!
Freedom is a fundamental part of life, but often we don't realize there are those who live in virtual "captivity". Freedom should always be something for everyone, but that's not always the case. We take for granted that we can walk down the street every day for an activity of our choice.
Our vision begins with our desire, as volunteers, to give back to our community. An estimated cost for a carpenter to build a ramp generally is high. We, at Ramps Across America, raise the funds, and build the ramps for those in need. We know that self-reliance is the only road to true freedom, and being one's own person is its ultimate reward.
